Expectations

Tech Business Analysts

  • Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycle and technology solutions.
  • Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems integrate, including APIs, databases, and software architecture.
  • Data Analysis: Experience with data modeling, data flow diagrams, and querying databases
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks; writing user stories and participating in sprints
  • Requirements Translation: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-friendly language and vice versa
  • Software Development Knowledge: Understanding of programming languages, testing processes, and development tools
  • Technical Documentation: Writing detailed technical specifications, system design documentation, and functional requirement documents

Non-Tech Business Analysts

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific industry to effectively assess and improve business processes
  • Business Acumen: Insight into market trends, competition, and organizational strategies to help align business goals with practical solutions
  • Process Improvement: Experience in methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques
  • Financial Analysis: Understanding of financial models, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis
  • Change Impact Assessment: Assess how business changes will impact the organization, including people, processes, and technology

We are looking for strong candidates who have :

  • Demonstrates respect and professionalism, upholding high integrity and transparency in all tasks.

  • Encourages knowledge sharing, teamwork, and collaboration by actively engaging with stakeholders and team members.
  • An Active NV1 or higher

Education/Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in related discipline
  • Knowledge gained through experience
