Assurance Officer – Upcoming Opportunities

Expectations

• Identify and document the gateway review process requirements for each project, including artefacts, documentation, and compliance criteria.
• Coordinate with project leads and other stakeholders to ensure the timely creation and submission of required artefacts.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Assurance Plan that aligns with both the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) governance requirements and the Department of Finance Gateway Process
• Conduct regular reviews of project documentation to ensure compliance with gateway review requirements.
• Provide support and advice to project leads to ensure a consistent and proportionate approach to planning, implementation, and governance of activities
• Facilitate regular control group meetings and work closely with policy divisions to negotiate timelines and other project-related matters

We are looking for strong candidates who have :

• Strong understanding of the Australian Government’s Gateway Review Process and related governance frameworks
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Relevant qualifications in project management or a related field.
• An active NV1 or higher

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar assurance role
• Familiarity with the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) governance requirements.

Education/Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in related discipline,
• Knowledge gained through experience
